About This Inductee

Jennifer started playing softball at age 8 with the Wilkes-Barre Girls Softball League. At Meyers Jennifer played four years on the Junior and Senior High softball teams. She played with the local All-Stars throughout the East Coast on the A.S.A. tour becoming East Coast Champs. She was part of Meyers District II championship team twice from 1987-1989. She was a three year All-Star named MVP her senior year in State Quarterfinals. She participated in Gold Medal Keystone Softball Games. She led the league in doubles and was second in homers and triples in 1988. In 1989 she was first in homers and second in doubles and triples. She was starting point guard on Meyers girls basketball team three years and part of the 1986 District II champion-ship team. She went on to Kutztown University as starting catcher in her freshman year. She participated two years in the PSAC State Championship finals. Presently Jennifer is head varsity softball coach at Crestwood High School. She resides in Mountaintop with her husband Joe.
