Clause was a professional bowler and educator that traveled the globe. With a lifetime average of 203 and 52 perfect games to his credit, Clause was a leading contender, often facing such greats as Don Carter and Dick Weber. He toured the world for AMF teaching the fundamentals of the sport. Clause was honored by being selected to the National Bowling Hall of Fame in 1979. He passed away in 1977.
