About This Inductee

Terry graduated from Slatington High School, Slatington, Pa. in 1956. He went on to graduate from the Philadelphia Institute of Barbering in 1956. From 1957 until 1997, he functioned as owner of the Linden Barber Shop, and from 1997 to the present, he is Northern Whitehall Supervisor in Coplay, Pa. Terry has been president of North Parkland Athletic Organization for 25 years, and vice-president of the Lehigh Valley Legion League. He coached knee-hi baseball at Orefield Athletic Association for 5 years, and won 5 straight championships. He was North Parkland American coach for 25 years with 500+ wins and 150 losses. His teams have won 12 division/league championships. Twenty-four out of 25 years his teams were in the playoffs. Five ex-players have signed pro contracts. Terry also coached youth football for 25 years, with 200+ victories and 16 division/league championships. A majority of his players have gone on to play for Parkland High School’s varsity football program. Terry has also functioned for 39 years as a high school football official He has worked in all the big leagues in the East and worked the championship and big games in the various leagues. For 37 years he officiated college basketball. For 30 years he worked major colleges in the Big 10, ACC, Big East, Atlantic 10 and Metro Atlantic. He went on to the NCAA for 5 years. For many years, Terry has run baseball non-profit clinics for kids. He currently resides in Orefield, Pa.
