Ronald Cole

Ronald graduated from Wyalusing HS in 1962.  He and his wife, Donna, have two children Rhonda and Randy and they also have a granddaughter, Taylor. Ron letter four years in varsity football and wrestling.  In his senior year he made honorable mention as quarterback on the All-State team and on the Wigwam All-American team. He never missed a wrestling match for sickness or not making weight in his four years. In his sophomore year Ron only wrestled 21 1/2 minutes in the 14 dual meets the team wrestled. He made the sectional finals all four years that he wrestled an won two years. In his senior year after winning sectionals he became the first District 4 champion the Northern Tier ever had. The wrestling team finished second his freshman year, undefeated his junior year and lost the last match of the season his senior year winning the league championship and having a winning streak of 31 straight. Ron went undefeated his first year in dual meets at Mansfield University. After retiring from Proctor and Gamble, Ron spends his time hunting and training trial dogs in which he has won many trophies. He enjoys vacationing with his wife.
