Robert played football, basketball and baseball from 7th grade through his senior year at Swoyersville High School. He played on the West team in the UNICO All-Star Classic as a senior. He attended Michigan State University where he played football for 4 years and baseball for 1 year. He also played football while in the US Army for Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, winning the stateside championship. He was head track coach at Charlotte High School in Charlotte, Michigan 1959-1960 and head football and basketball coach at West Wyoming High School 1960-1961. He next became head football coach at Plains High School for 10 years and coached the UNICO East All-Star football team two years. Robert retired from the Wilkes-Bane Area School District where he taught for 39 years. Robert resides in Laflin with his wife, the former Marilyn McGuire. They are the parents of two: Dr. Lynne Sieminski and Robb Sieminski. He is one of five brothers inducted into the Luzerne County/John Louis Popple Sports Hall of Fame.
