About This Inductee

A Tunkhannock Area High School graduate, University of Michigan graduate and doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of South California 1999. Jen excelled in the classroom, as well as in sports. She was the Valedictorian of her class in 1992. She received the Paul Hunsinger Awards, Lucille Swift Award and Angell Scholar Award at Michigan. At Southern California, USC Order of the Golden Cane, Academic Achievement and Campanella Scholarship Fellow Award.

As a premier athlete in high school, she gained All-Star Honors in four years of participation, in field hockey, swimming, and track. Other honors: Dutch Keller Award, Field Hockey MV 1990-1991, leading scorer 1991, All Star MVP 1991. Swimming 1998 school records in the 50 freestyle, 100 fly, and 200 I.M. 1989-90 District Gold Medals in the 50 and 100 freestyle. 1991-92 MVP, Keystone Games: gold medal track, 1989 records in the 200 and 400 yard dash and 4×100 relay. Two district gold medals (1) silver and (1) bronze. 1990 four district gold medals, records in 100 yard and 300 M hurdles. Four straight titles at Tunkhannock Area High School. MVP & Outstanding Wyoming Valley Conference Athlete in 1991. 1992: 4 District Golds, states silver medal in 500 M hurdles.
At the University of Michigan, Jen was a 4-year starter, and captain her senior year in field hockey. An Academic All-American and in 1996, broke the record for most assists in a season. Jennifer and husband Spencer reside in San Marcos, California. She is employed by Gasper Physical
Therapy. They have two children, Benjamin Jack and Hannah Rosemarie.
