An Outstanding golfer in Pennsylvania for over forty years. A nine time club champ at the Fox Hill Country Club. The first man to win the Ponce De Leon winter amateur championship at Florida. He won the Bahama Island championship and has qualified for the USA amateur 12 times. In 1939, Francis set the Pennsylvania state amateur champion qualifying record with 138 for 36 holes.
