Edward Jefferson

About This Inductee

In 1936, Jefferson was co-founder and first president of the Pennsylvania Bowling Association. He was elected to the Hazleton Bowling Hall of Fame in 1967, the Wyoming Valley Bowling Hall of Fame in 1973 and the Hazleton Y.M.C.A. All Sports Hall of Fame in 1977. In 1976, Jefferson was elected to the Pennsylvania Bowling Hall of Fame. In 1931, he bowled the first 299 game at Hyde Park in Scranton with a two-finger ball.
