About This Inductee

As a youngster, Tony played on Little League, Teener’s League and Senior Teener’s League All-Star teams. At Kingston High School, Tony lettered three seasons in football and was co-captain his senior year. He was All-Scholastic two seasons. He also played basketball and was a member of the track team (shot put and javelin). Tony attended Cornell University, playing varsity football three seasons as offensive center and defensive linebacker. He was team captain his senior year. White at Cornell Medical School, Tony played recreational rugby with the West Chester Rugby Club. In the past, Tony has also umpired little league and coached youth soccer. Dr. Turel completed his internship and residency at the University Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio and is presently Director of the Clinical Trials Office at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA. Dr. Turel is also a Clinical Professor of Medicine, College of Medicine, Penn State University/Hershey Medical Center and has received numerous medical honors. He and his wife Milli reside in Danville and are the parents of lot Victoria Ann Wiktor.
