As an outstanding football player at Pittston High School, Pete went to the University of Scranton where he enjoyed a brilliant career. From college he went to the Eastern Professional Football League, where he attracted attention with his kicking accuracy. He was nominated for all American honors. Pete also excelled in baseball with the Pittston Boosters Suburban League and played football with the Pittston A.A. Pete is player and co-owner of the Wilkes-Barre, Panthers.
