John J. Oliver III —John graduated from Lake Lehman in 1996 and had impressive high school accomplishments in baseball and football. John excelled in baseball and was a three-time WVC All-Star. Conference MVP. American Baseball Coaches Association All-American, and All-American High School USA Today, all in 1996. John also participated in the U.S. Olympic festival. All-State Baseball American Legion and Team One National Baseball Association. John was the first round draft pick for the Cincinnati Reds in 1996. He played in the Reds and the Boston Red Sox organizations for four years. He was a football star in high school and was recognized in All-Conference in 1994-95. Wyoming Valley Conference MVP in 1995 and KBAC Athlete of the Year in 1996. John served as assistant baseball coach at Kings in 2002 and assistant coach in baseball at Crestwood High School in 2003. He is presently employed as vice-president of the Eastern Landcare, Inc. John resides in Dallas.
