About This Inductee

Glenn graduated from Notre Dame High School in Green Pond, Pa., in 1963, where lie excelled in football, basketball and track.He continued his sporting career at Shippensburg State College, where he participated in track for 2 years. He earned his B.S. in Business Education in 1967 from Shippensburg. Glenn has been employed as a business ed. teacher at Slatington/Northern Lehigh High School from 1967 to the present time, where he has numerous sports—football, cross county, track and basketball for both girls and boys. He functioned as assistant football coach from 1967-1971. His cross county teams’ record is 87 and 35 with 5 Centennial League Championships and 2 District Championships. As assistant, then head track coach from 1968-1993, his track teams were State Champions twice, and garnered 4 Centennial League Championships. As boys basketball coach from 1971-1985, his record is 237 wins and 123 losses, with 6 Centennial League Championships and 1 Eastern AA PIAA Championship. Glenn was named District XI Coach of the Year in 1984. His girls basketball teams from 1994-96 have a record of 35 wins vs. 15 losses. He was also named Colonial League Coach of the Year in 1994 as well as 1995. Glenn has been Northern Lehigh Athletic Director since 1993. He was named Colonial League Athletic Director of the Year in 1995 and 1996. He has also been Colonial League chairperson for boys basketball and Colonial League secretary—PIAA District XI AA & AAA track meet manager. Glenn has also been a PIAA track official since 1971. He is president of the Eastern PA Football Officials Chapter; District XI Rules Interpreter in football; a member of the Board of Directors—McDonald’s All-Star Football Classic
